We only finished the main part of the basement with hopes of finishing one of the other two sections later on down the line...
We have a walk out door for our basement as well. We love it and haven't really used it too much... but we think once we get the basement all set up, we'll use this space, and the walk out A LOT!
So some photos!
This first set is standing at the walk-out basement door looking into the basement.
Door across the basement is to the unfinished "media room" which sits under the front of the house. Our electric box is stored in the unfinished part. |

So there's the basement. Albeit a mess, that's how ours is laid out.... And we love it! We can't wait to have it all organized with all of our Reds stuff and make it a fun space to hang out! I'm sure I'll be posting photos as soon as it's all finished!
Looks great! Jealous of all the natural light from the walk-out.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! It helps to visualize our space from a real homeowner's perspective as opposed to the bells and whistles model version!
ReplyDeleteawww! No problem! I had someone asking how our basement was laid out as they're building a Milan too! So I'm glad the photos can help others!
DeleteIt's gonna be a L-O-N-G time before we have the basement set up the way we like it, haha! But I'll have to post finished product photos once we get it done!
Thank you for doing this!! Helps us be able to plan a little and get an idea of what it actually looks like. I love it! It seems huge. Even the unfinished parts are huge

How exciting!! I hope your meeting goes well!
DeleteAnd how fun that you're actually close to us! I've followed several blogs of people that live in the Cleveland area, and a few others in Ohio! Let me know if you guys do decide to build and if you blog about it!! I still LOVE following blogs for people building!!
And any questions you have, feel free to ask!! I am glad my blog can be helpful!!
Moisture or water that can seep through the walls and flooring of the basement can cause tremendous water damage to the structure. Chicago basement
